While wine tasting at the nearby Mountain Wineries, we stopped at this restaurant for dinner one evening. What a pleasant surprise!

Located in the small mountain town of Twain Harte, not far from Sonora, owners Valerie and Brian Ott know what they are doing. We were welcomed by friendly staff and then enjoyed a fabulous meal in the relaxing atmosphere.

You'll find a wide variety of appetizers, pastas, seafood, chicken, and beef dishes to choose from. We both enjoyed one of their seasonal specials of the day. You can also order wine, beer, and distilled spirits. If you want to bring your own wine, the corkage fee is only $7.50.

We were too full for dessert, though the dessert menu was varied and quite tempting. That's okay; it gives us an excuse to return again soon!

Head east on CA-108. Turn left onto Twain Harte Drive. Keep right at the fork to continue on Twain Harte Drive. Take the first right onto Joaquin Gully Rd. The restaurant is on the left.
