Artisan Restaurant - Paso Robles Restaurant

Artisan Restaurant

If you are looking for the best Paso Robles restaurant, Artisan Restaurant is it. This contemporary American bistro features a seasonal menu that highlights locally grown produce and foods.

The interior is contemporary and casual; yet elegant at the same time. Candlelit tables create a relaxing setting for dinner. Artisan is owned by two brothers. Chris Kobayashi is the amazing chef while Michael Kobayashi creates a welcoming atmosphere as the dining room host.

Be prepared for food that both looks and tastes superb. We began the meal with the gouda and porter fondue with andouille, asparagus, and garlic bread. It was the perfect appetizer to share and so tasty we've already decided that it's on our order for next time.

I enjoyed the Hearst Ranch grass fed flatiron steak while Steve devoured the lamp chops with truffle arancini, fava beans, and black trumpets. The dessert menu was certainly tempting. As much as we would have loved to have dessert, we were just too full.

The wine list was extensive with a large choice of wines by the glass. Most of the wines were local Central Coast wines. The service was excellent and we will certainly visit Artisan Restaurant the next time we are wine tasting in Paso Robles. It truly is a favorite Paso Robles restaurant.
