Discover the Yamhill-Carlton Wine Region, which sits at the north end of the Willamette Valley. It's about an hour's drive from Oregon's largest city, Portland.
Only 40 miles east of the Pacific this area is protected by the Coast Range to the west, the Chehalem Mountains to the North, and Dundee Hills in the east. It receives less rain than other areas. It's perfect for growing the area's flagship wine, Pinot Noir.
