Far Niente is open for wine tours by appointment only. Tours begin with a walk through the winery. You will visit their 40,000 square foot wine aging caves. These are the first modern wine caves built in North America. Excavation began in 1980. The next stop is the Carriage House, home to a fascinating collection of automobiles. The tour concludes with a wine tasting paired with cheese. This tour requires lots of walking, including stairs. The cost is $50.

This small family owned winery produces some fabulous Napa wines. They usually sell out within 3 or 4 months. Please call to see if they are open for wine tasting and make an appointment. The tour guide will explain the classic method of producing sparkling wine, followed by a tasting of four Schramsberg wines. The cost is $40. They also offer a Food & Wine Experience that would include the regular tour. In addition small plates would be served along with the wines. This experience cost $65 and is available by appointment only on select days.
