This wine cake recipe begins with a box of yellow cake mix. This dessert is so easy to make and tastes so wonderful. A delicious bundt cake that pairs so well with a sweet Riesling.
Wine Pairing: You want to drink a really sweet Riesling to blend with the sweetness of the cake. Be careful not to select a "dry" Riesling which will fight against the sweet cake. We would recommend Pacific Rim Sweet Riesling. This Riesling has sweet flavors of pineapple and peaches. It's a lively and reasonably priced wine that would pair well with this cake.
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients and mix with electric mixer for 5 minutes at medium speed.
2. Pour batter into a greased bundt cake pan.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes until done.
