The Best Sangria Recipe

This sangria recipe is the perfect summer drink. Enjoy the delightful mix of various fruits and wine designed to quench your thirst while you relax and enjoy the moment.

The variety of fresh fruit makes this a special sangria that is different than the sangria you usually drink. The combination of oranges, lemons, peaches, and plums is so refreshing. It's a delicious drink!









If you are looking for something unique to serve for a brunch, party, or other get-together, this will definitely be a crowd pleaser.






Ingredients for this beverage:
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons spiced dark rum
3 tablespoons orange liquer)
1 orange (sliced)
1 lemon (sliced)
2 ripe peaches (sliced)
3 ripe plums (sliced)
2 cinnamon sticks
u1 bottle Spanish red wine
Sparkling soda water


Instructions for this beverage:
1. Add to a punch bowl (or other large bowl): sugar, rum, orange liqueur, fruits, and cinnamon sticks. Mix together.
2. Stir in the bottle of wine.
3. Chill in the refrigerator for approximately four to eight hours before serving.
4. Discard cinnamon sticks. Spoon fruits into glasses. Pour the spiced wine over the fruit. Top with a splash of soda water.

Makes 8 glasses.

There are so many different versions of Sangria out there. This recipe is my favorite Sangria. Everyone I serve this special drink to is impressed with the abundance of fresh fruit as well as its delicious favor. This recipe does take a little more effort than most, but it's definitely worth the effort!
